Be amazed by glowing proteins and see how the spectacular “elephant toothpaste” is made. Get hands-on as a researcher—test your skills by pipetting in the lab!
A highlight: Use a special test to detect traces of cocaine on your own banknotes. Also, explore the institute, learn about the biochemistry degree program, and immerse yourself in the exciting world of biochemistry.

At 4:30 p.m., Prof. Dr. Albert Jeltsch will give an engaging lecture in the seminar room of the Institute of Biochemistry (-1.177) on the topic “Unraveling the Mysteries of Life”
Additionally, there will be an opportunity to learn about studying biochemistry at the University of Stuttgart during the Bachelor’s Information Day:
At 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the lecture “Why Study the Natural Sciences at the University of Stuttgart?” will provide an initial overview. (Lecture Hall V47.02)
At the information booth in the foyer at Pfaffenwaldring 55, students and faculty will be available to provide program information starting around 2:45 p.m.
In addition, an information booth will be open all afternoon at the Institute of Biochemistry, Allmandring 31.
