Recruitment startet

The EpiSignal research training group studies crosstalk of intracellular signaling pathways and chromatin modification networks. EpiSignal aims to make contributions to the understanding of the regulation of cell differentiation and proliferation during normal development, shed new light onto the complex networks and regulatory principles of cell and epigenome signaling systems, and provide insights into processes occurring during diseases. Moreover, EpiSignal will establish an interdisciplinary training program that offers innovative training in all relevant disciplines (cell biology, biochemistry, molecular (epi)genetics and systems biology) and optimally prepares doctoral researchers for future career paths in academia or industry. The project is coordinated by the department of Molecular Biochemistry.

The EpiSignal faculty comprises nine groups from the University of Stuttgart and one from the University of Tübingen. The team combines strong, internationally recognized expertise in the different research fields relevant for EpiSignal. In each group, one PhD position (TVL-E13; 65%) will be available for a period of four years. If you like to become part of the team, find more details and application info below. Application deadline is 18th of May!
